Improved
- Color Replacer, Re-Tint Color and Find Spot Color are about three times faster on big artwork, and reading the colours of a whole document is faster
- Scripts that work through a whole layer or document are faster on big files (thousands of items)
- A script's buttons show a busy spinner while the script works, and always come back when it is done
Fixed
- Lists of files from a folder you chose yourself (such as Find Spot Color's colour books in a folder like G:\Colour Books) keep the one you pick instead of jumping back to the first
- The ... button next to a file in a script's table fills in the file you pick, and cancelling a file or folder window no longer fills in the word undefined
Plus other minor improvements and bug fixes.
Install or reinstall PowerScripts
Usually not needed: PowerScripts updates itself from the panel menu (Update PowerScripts).
- Download the installer (L10.1.24)
- Drag the downloaded
.jsxfile onto Illustrator, or use File > Scripts > Other Script… - Click Install, restart Illustrator, then open Window > Extensions > PowerScripts.
